Kevin Phillips

Kevin G. Phillips (B.A., M.A. Wheaton, IL; M.B.A. studies Syracuse, NY; Ed.D. Teachers College, Columbia, NY, NY) is passionate about developing leaders as disciple makers. He is the Founder and CEO of ILDUSA (http://ILDUSA.org), and has trained leaders on all six continents. Kevin has served at Hopewell Church in New York since 1992 where he has directed the youth ministry, led 40+ mission trips, served on the Ministry Vision Board, and is now HRC's Teaching Missionary.

Dr. Phillips has 40 years of experience in ministry and is the originator of the "Intentional Leadership Development" process. He started the Youth Ministry major at Nyack College and taught regularly in Nyack's "Organizational Management" program (Courses included: Organizational Behavior, Personnel Management, Economics and Marketing.). He has also taught for The Kings College, Taylor University, Empire State College, New York School of the Bible, East Coast School of Urban Ministry, Hudson Valley Bible Institute, NY/NJ Sunday School Associations, Teen Missions India/Australia/South Africa, J-Life Africa, Fiwale Bible College of Zambia, and Mueller College of Brisbane, Australia. He has been certified as a trainer for Sonlife, Group Publishing, and Natural Church Development.

Kevin volunteered for Nyack Community Ambulance Corps (http://www.nyackems.org/ems/) for fourteen years and served as Scoutmaster of Harlem Troop 5 (http://troop5harlem.com/) from 1988-2019.  Today Kevin serves as Assistant Scoutmaster of New Berlin Troop 61 (recently retired as Scoutmaster) (http://www.troop61newberlin.com), Director of the New Berlin Youth Center, Inc. (https://www.nbyouthcenter.org/), and as CEO of Theos Beth-el, Inc. (https://www.theosbethel.org/). He has been married to his best friend, Sarah, since 1983 and is a lifelong fan of the Baltimore Orioles!
